Adoptable Young Boy Awaiting a Forever Home

Ralph is a very gorgeous coonhound, Tennessee Walker, from the Finger Lakes SPCA.  He is available for adoption! Seems he was too smart for the shelter enviroment so he managed to get himself placed at our camp.  The joke is on him!  While he does get to play all day he has had to learn household manners and is currently in basic training.  He is very dog friendly and loves people though he is learning to trust again.  Giving him naps in the afternoon with Randy, Kennel Manager, has helped him feel comfortable with close loving contact with his caregivers.  It's going to be hard to see him go however we now he deserves his own forever home!  Do you think you cloud open your heart & home to him?

My Favorite Quote
"I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was angry. "God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?" God was silent for a moment and then He spoke softly. I have done something,"
He replied. "I created you."

Do something about this yourself, adopt a rescue!!!

Brooke
This little pointer/pit mix was born on 12/1/08 and has been with Country Hospetality since summer.  Her nick name is "baby girl".  She is a sweet thing that loves other dogs and loves to play.   She is enjoying her new unleashed life and has the uncanny ability of talking every dog into playing with her! .  Her wish for Christmas is a forever family that will spoil her rotten.  She would be great as an agility dog as she can fly over a 36" fence and runs with the wind just for fun.  Spayed, UTD on vaccines crate & house trained.

We are very attached to this special girl and will only let her go to a very special dedicated pet parent(s). Home inspection with high fencing is required.  Does this active "baby girl" meet your lifestyle? Come and meet her she will melt your heart.

Adoptions

We support non-profits and all our current fur kids are rescues.  We believe in and support Natural Rearing Breeders and responsible breeders breeding for standards. We do not support puppy mill or the common layman who thinks they would like to breed for profit.  It's is a disgrace to the animals breed if you are not breeding for standards or better yet setting standards.  There are a lot of dirty secrets in the AKC standards that breeders exercise sometimes with the help of their vet to put down puppies that do not meet AKC standards,  Thus it is important to study the breeds and breeders before purchasing a purebreed.

Did you know that 25% of ALL boxers in the US are white?  Why is it you rarely see a white boxer?  AKC standard only allows show of fawn and brindle boxer with less then 1/3 of body showing any white.  Because of this limitation white boxers to not meet the breed standard for show conformation.  Hopefully this will change and the beautiful white boxer be will acknowledged by the AKC as well as other breeds that are challenged by old outdated fears not sound health and conformation.

Here is our white boxer rescue, Niagara, with Brook, Bonnie Beagle, and Roan.  On the far cot is Sparky and Cyrus.  All our catching some z's after playtime.  They really do all love each other both in play and in sleep!
